New posters are out from the film in the franchise, Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince! And definitely they are all about love stories! Including the The Ron-Hermione-Lavender love triangle! And of course, Harry and Ginny!

I am so excited about it! 🙂

2497262831_57a268a48aOo na, sige na, I know. Super duper ng late nitong ipo-post ko about the book “Para kay B”. Almost a month ko na syang tapos basahin pero now lang ang review ko haha…Pasensya naman, busy lang.

Maganda at nakaka-intriga ang kwento. Five different love stories that would make you fall in love, thrill, and excite you, then gives you time to double think if you did the right decision of being in love.

Kakaiba talaga ang paraan ng pagsulat ni Ricky Lee. The twist in the story is superb. Totoo yung mga testimonials na hindi mo talaga mabababa yung book once you start reading it. You’d be caught in between the story and even find yourself playing one of those characters. It seems to have that magic that can cast a spell on you.

It’s a reality that was given emphasis by Ricky Lee. We all experience different kinds of heart aches. And whatever you’re going through right now, happy or not, life should go on because it’s you that can make it worth living.

3024045877_cd9a36a2bcI borrowed the DVD of Slumdog Millionaire from Karissa last week and I was able to watch it last night. I thought it’s the kind of film that would bore the hell out of me but I was wrong. It’s an eye opener and an entertaining movie as well. I personally like the way the whole film has been structured. I can never get out of my seat the moment the film started. It really deserves an Oscar!

What’s funny is I thought my family would not appreciate it. When I told them that I would like to watch it, they said things like, “what will you get from that, Indian cultures?” I just smiled at them and continue putting the disc to the player. They never bother to get a glimpse of what I’m watching but when they’ve heard me laughing, it’s because the young Jamal who dives into water full of shit…eeewww! Just to get an autograph from his favorite actor, they became interested and sat down with me.

It’s really a good film to watch. The only thing that confuses me would be the dance number at the end of the movie. The movie would still be great even without that dance number! It’s like watching an old Regal film Hahaha! 🙂

By Friday, while waiting for Sherwyn, I passed by Powerbooks. After browsing some of the books, I saw the book of  Ricky Lee, “Para kay B” (o kung paano dinevastate ng pag-ibig ang 4 out of 5 sa atin). I’ve read a few lines from it and without even looking back; I headed to the cashier to pay for it. Natakot kasi ako na baka kung ano pa maisip ko at hindi ko na naman mabili itong book. I can’t say if it’s a good book pa. Until now kasi hindi ko pa din sya nauumpisahang basahin e. Might read it this week when I’m not busy. I’ll keep you updated. 🙂
